So I was curious about factcheck.com because a lot of my liberal friends refer to it as if it were The Bible or something else that is real. Here’s some of the stuff I found and credit goes to the guys I took their comments from. Not plagiarism, just copying and pasting and admitting I didn’t write these words… but I liked them, and after surfing around the net I can’t find the “nickname” of the guys answering these forums nor do I care to go back and look for them, and I don’t believe they care either. I’m sure they like being “quoted”:
Here’s my words first, and you can quote me: The ANNENBERG Public Policy Center (APPC) was founded by a conservative.
In his words:
“I believe in social responsibility. A man’s service to others must be at least in ratio to the character of his own success in life. When one is fortunate enough to gain a measure of material well being, however small, service to others should be uppermost in his mind.” – Walter H. Annenberg (1951)
My words: Too bad Wally died in 2002 … he must be spinning about all the spinning.
Now, “borrowed words”:
The first rule of advertising is “Advertise your weakest point”. Hence, we have names like “Fact Check”, “Fairness Doctrine”, “Progressive”, “Hope”.
What’s the bottom line? FactCheck.org is a LEFT-BIASED organization that has sold itself as “Politically NEUTRAL” to America’s voters and media personnel.
The fact is, the ANNENBERG Public Policy Center (APPC), the sponsoring agency behind FastCheck.org, is itself supported by the same foundation, the ANNENBERG FOUNDATION, that Bill Ayers secured the 49.2 million dollars from to create the Chicago ANNENBERG Challenge “philanthropic” organization in which Barack Obama was the founding Chairman of the Board for and Ayers served as the grant writer of and co-Chair of for its two operating arms.
Does the LEFT have no conscience at all?
To start, Ayers was the key founder of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which was a Chicago public school reform project from 1995 to 2001. Upon its start in 1995, Obama was appointed Board Chairman and President of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. That alone connects all three. Well, it branches out even more from there. Ayers co-chaired the organization’s Collaborative, which set the education policies of the Challenge. Oddly enough, Obama was the one who was authorized to delegate to the Collaborative in regards to its programs and projects. In addition to that, Obama often times had to seek advice and assistance from the Ayer’s led Collaborative in regards to the programmatic aspects of grant proposals. Ayers even sat on the same board as Obama as an “ex officio member”. They both also sat together on the board of the CAC’s Governance Committee. Obama and Ayers were two parts of a group of four who were instructed to draft the bylaws that would govern the CAC. Keep in mind that the “A” in CAC is for Annenberg, the owners of FactCheck.org. The funding for Ayer’s projects and those of his cronies was approved by Board Chair, Barack Obama.
Fact check this!
